Mission Statement

The mission of the Young Republicans of Pennsylvania is:

  • To discover and invite young people into the Republican Party to promote political expression and recognition.
  • To encourage awareness and participation in the political process at all levels of government in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
  • To help build the future of the Republican Party.
  • To support and promote the philosophies and ideals of the local, state, and national Republican Party.
  • To assist in the election of Republican nominees into public office.

While we take politics and service to our communities, commonwealth and country very seriously, the Young Republicans of Pennsylvania are just as much a social club as we are a political organization. We feel that an important component to any successful organization and especially a political organization, is that that organization be as social as it is political. The social aspects of our organization allow for networking with other young professionals in the community to help foster professional relationships as well as political and social relationships.

Most club meetings normally last about an hour and people linger afterward having drinks and socializing. Some members look forward to the monthly meeting as a chance to get out of the house and others look forward to the opportunity to see and make new friends.

Outside of our meetings we participate in many events throughout the various communities we call home here in Pennsylvania, which allow us to develop relationships outside of our organizations. These relationships allow us to leverage our position within our counties and the state to make a difference. These important relationships would not be possible if we were all about business and not about having a good time, too.

If you are looking for an organization to help you become active politically -- we are for you!! If you are looking for a way to make new friends and develop new relationships with like-minded people, we are for you, also. The Young Republicans of Pennsylvania and our many county organizations have something for everybody!!
